Bronze Medalist Sami Vatanen to Sign Autographs for Fans Tonight

NORFOLK, VA -- The Norfolk Admirals announced today that Olympic bronze medalist Sami Vatanen will be signing autographs in the Scope concourse during the second intermission of tonight's game against the Charlotte Checkers. Game time is 7:15 p.m.

Vatanen earned a bronze medal while playing for Team Finland in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. Vatanen led all defensemen in assists (5) and was tied for fourth in scoring with five points in the Olympic tournament. He is a top prospect of the Anaheim Ducks, and has shared time this season in Anaheim (41 games) and Norfolk (6 games).

Tonight's game marks another GEICO Challenge Cup contest between the Admirals and the Checkers. College Students can purchase tickets for just $9 when they present their college I.D. to the Scope Box Office anytime after 2:00 p.m. the day of the game.
