
Broncos Sign Alexei Shanaurin to Standard Player Agreement

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced today that they have signed 2004-born forward Alexei Shanaurin to a Standard Player Agreement.
Shanaurin, from Russia, was selected with the 119th overall pick in the 2021 CHL Import Draft.
The 6'0'', 179-pound Shanaurin split the 2020-21 season between Tyumenski Legion's U17 team and the MHL team, the top junior league in Russia.
At the U17 level Shanaurin scored 14 goals with 16 assists in 22 games. In 17 MHL games Shanaurin scored once and added seven assists.
He will join his teammates for training camp at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex in September.
