
Broncos Send Sanchez to WhiteWings for Paniagua

The Laredo Broncos of the United League announce today they have acquired 1B/DH Salvador Paniagua from the Rio Grande Valley White Wings for C Luany Sanchez.
Paniagua, in 34 games with the White Wings is hitting .324 with nine home runs and 34 RBI in 2010.
Sanchez, who played for the White Wings towards the end of the 2007 season has a .208 batting average with one home run and six RBI for the Broncos in 2010.
The Broncos also announce the signing of RHP Pitcher James Maxwell. Maxwell played for the Evansville Otters in the Frontier League in 2010 before being released on June 21st. With the Otters, Maxwell went 1-1 with a 4.19 ERA in eight games out of the bullpen. He allowed six runs (all earned) on 11 hits and six walks in 11 innings pitched.
