
Broncos Name New Associate Coach

SWIFT CURRENT SK-The Swift Current Broncos have named Ryan Smith their new Associate Coach.
Smith comes to Swift Current from the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL where he was Head Coach and General Manager for the 2014-15 season.
Prior to his time in Humboldt, Smith was Head Coach/GM of the Selkirk Steelers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for 5 seasons. In 2014 he was MJHL Coach of the Year after guiding Selkirk to a 1st place regular season finish. Smith was also a runner up for the CJHL Coach of the Year.
"He's done a lot of coaching. Ryan has been a Coach and GM in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Ryan was short listed last year when we were filling this position and is ready for this challenge" said Broncos Coach and GM Mark Lamb of Smith.
