Bristol Blues Take out the Torrington Titans with Help from Morris, 3-1

Chris Morris went 1-1, helping the Bristol Blues (4-0) to a 3-1 victory over the Torrington Titans (2-2) on Saturday at Muzzy Field.

He singled in the second inning.

Brandon Fox had an impressive outing against the Torrington Titans' lineup. Fox gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Jason Staub brought the heat against the Bristol Blues during his outing. The Bristol Blues managed just one hit off of the the Torrington Titans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Zeke Long ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
