Pittsfield Suns Outlast Nashua Silver Knights in High-Scoring Affair, 9-8

The bats were busy at Wahconah Park on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Pittsfield Suns (2-2) had a 9-8 win over the Nashua Silver Knights (3-1).

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

Al Zachary racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He homered in the first innings and singled in the second inning.

Matt Cuneo recorded his first win of the year for the Pittsfield Suns. Cuneo struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Aubrey Solomon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
