
Bristol Blues Make the Most of 6 Hits in 3-2 Victory over the North Shore Navigators

The Bristol Blues (2-0) and the North Shore Navigators (0-2) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Bristol Blues capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at Muzzy Field.
Austin Chauvin did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bristol Blues, reaching base three times. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Ty Robinson racked up six strikeouts in the the Bristol Blues win. The Bristol Blues' pitcher tossed 3 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.
Daniel Metzdorf pitched lights out for the North Shore Navigators. Metzdorf held the Bristol Blues hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Taso Stathopolous couldn't get it done on the hill for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
