ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Dec. 14, 2009 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds have partnered with Toys for Tots to offer fans a buy one get one offer for this week's games at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM. Fans who bring a new unwrapped toy will be given one free ticket with any ticket purchase.
The goal of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. T-Birds fans can enjoy professional basketball and support a great program by participating in the team's Toys For Tots games on Dec. 15 and Dec. 18.
The Thunderbirds will be in action on Dec. 15 and Dec. 18 when they host the Austin Toros at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM. Both games will begin at 7:00 pm MT.
