
Brigade helps KCTV5, Union Broadcasting give Kansas Citians a happy holiday

Kansas City, Mo. (Dec. 7) - In the spirit of giving, the Kansas City Brigade is joining with its TV and radio partners to collect for the needy this holiday season. The Brigade will accept donations for each event through Friday, Dec. 15th at the Brigade Ticket and Merchandise Store (9423 Nall Ave in Prairie Village, Kan.).
KCTV5 Project Warmth
The Brigade's TV partner is sponsoring a donation drive for new or lightly used blankets and coats. The Salvation Army will distribute donations to shelters and agencies throughout the area to help families with children and the elderly who are especially at risk during the winter months. KCTV5 will be holding a telethon on Friday, December 15th, at which the Brigade Girls will be answering phones and presenting the donations. Visit www.kctv5.com for more information.

Sports Radio 810 WHB Hoops for the Holidays
Brigade sports radio partner 810 WHB, Harvesters and Toys for Tots are hosting Hoops for the Holidays at Municipal Auditorium on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. The 5:00 p.m. game will feature area athletes, including a Brigade player, alongside on-air personalities. The 7:00 p.m. game is the UMKC men. To receive two tickets to both games, donate eight (8) canned goods, a boxed toy, or $8.10. The Brigade is accepting donations in exchange for tickets.

97.3 MAX-FM Merry KrisMAX
Brigade flagship radio station 97.3 is hosting Merry KrisMAX to help area families get what they need for a happy holiday. The program currently has 97 families and is growing. Give general cash or gift card donations directly for distribution or generously adopt a family at www.973maxfm.com. The Brigade is accepting donations for a collection drive at Oak Park Mall on Friday, Dec. 15th. Donate on the 97.3 website throughout the holidays.
