Kats Re-Sign Bonner, Add Lineman to Roster

NASHVILLE- The Nashville Kats re-signed WR/DB Cornelius Bonner and signed first-year OL/DL Michael Madrazo to the club announced Head Coach/Dir. of Football Operations Pat Sperduto. As per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Bonner (6'0 188 Cincinnati) enters his second season with the Kats after spending time with AFL clubs Chicago and Las Vegas, respectively. In 2006, with the Kats, Bonner started 13 of 16 regular-season games and amassed 64 receptions for 836 yards and 16 touchdowns en route to becoming a solid, reliable offensive threat throughout the season. On defense, he recorded 56 total tackles (the second most in his career) and 12 passes defensed (the most in his career).
Madrazo (6'4 283 Pikeville College) comes to the Kats after spending three successful seasons with the United Indoor Football League's Lexington Horsemen, helping the club to two UIFL Championship appearances and one UIFL Championship title (2004). At Pikeville College (Pikeville, KY), Madrazo started two years at left tackle earning All-Mid South Conference honors both years including a first-team selection his senior campaign.
