
Brigade Adds Talent to Secondary

Rochester Brigade News Release
(Rochester, N.Y.)-Rochester Brigade head coach Mark Saunders announced that he has been assigned DS Theodore McDuffie from the arenafootball2 league office for the 2003 season.
McDuffie, 6'1, 200 lbs, spent three seasons at Temple University, where he was a letterman from 1993 to 1995 before transferring to the University at Buffalo. In three seasons at Temple he started in six of eleven games as a sophomore, amassed 176 tackles, with three forced fumbles and one interception, and registered a career high 14 tackles against the Miami Hurricanes as a sophomore. McDuffie played his senior season for the University at Buffalo, in 1997, where he led the team with 98 tackles (57 solo), eight pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in eleven games.
"He's (Theodore McDuffie) a solid player that's really going to help us in the secondary," stated Saunders. "He brings experience to the team and we're looking forward to having him this season."
McDuffie spent last season with the Buffalo Destroyers, of the Arena Football League, on their practice roster and is entering his first season of af2 action with the Rochester Brigade. He is a former Western New York Player of the year, an honorable mention USA Today All-American at Grover Cleveland and was a first-team All-State selection his senior season.
