Bluefish Open With Hot Home Stand
The Bridgeport Bluefish opened up hot in their first home stand at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard this past weekend. Of the six games against the Somerset Patriots and the York Revolution the Bluefish won five, giving them a 7-5 record on the season. The âFish have been led by the likes of Tim Drew, Rafael Bergstrom, Calvin Pickering, and Adam Greenberg to take six of their last seven games. The Bluefish will travel to Camden this weekend to face the Riversharks, but don't fret Bluefish fans, your team will be back next Tuesday for a three game series against Southern Maryland. Tickets are still available so get them while they last!
Watch for the Bluefish Blimp!
All Bluefish fans better keep their eyes in the sky these days! Early this week the Bluefish unveiled the brand new Bluefish Blimp! This sky high feature of the Ballpark will notify fans all around if their 2008 Bluefish will be playing at Harbor Yard. The 20 foot wide blimp will sky over the Ballpark down the third base side. Visible from I-95 and all around the city of Bridgeport it allows fans passing by the opportunity to see if there will be a game.
