
Bluefish Add Catcher To Roster

Bridgeport, CT - May 6th - The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced the signing of catcher Shea Harris.
Harris, 23, has one season of professional baseball experience. He signed as a free agent with the Atlantic City Surf of the Canadian-American League to start the 2007 season, later signing on with the Sioux City Explorers of the American Association. Playing in 32 games last season, Harris went 15-85 with two doubles, one home run, and five RBIs. He also drew 15 walks to boost his on-base percentage to .327. Harris also only made two errors in 178 chances.
Harris will join Brian Munhall as the second catcher on the team. Bridgeport lost their starter, Brian Peterson, when he signed with the Baltimore Orioles organization.
