Brian Miller Recognized for 1500 Games of Service

(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes Head Trainer Brian "BMan" Miller was recently recognized at the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society (PHATS) annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas for serving in his 1500th game.

Miller was on the bench for his 1500th game, as well as his 1000th Ontario Hockey League game, during the Petes' 2014/15 season. He joined the Petes as Head Trainer and Head Equipment Manager in 2002 after six seasons in the American Hockey League - including two AHL All-Star Games and a Calder Cup championship - with the St. John Flames.

Miller has also served at the international level as Equipment Manager with Canada's gold medal-winning National Jewish Hockey Team at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel, and as Head Trainer of Ontario's Under-16 Team at the 2010 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

The Petes' Head Trainer is also the Inventor of Option B Skate Straps, an easier alternative to skate laces. He lives in Peterborough with his wife Esther and children Joshua, Elisha, Luke and Noah.
