CARY, NC - The North Carolina Courage today announced the signing of midfielder Bri Folds as a national team replacement player. The Courage currently have three players on international duty.

North Carolina originally selected Folds in the fourth round (36th overall) of the 2020 NWSL Draft. After COVID-19 disrupted the 2020 NWSL Regular Season, Folds signed an 18-month contract with Swedish side BK Häcken (formerly Göteborg FC), where she played six games before being loaned to Fortuna Hjørring in Denmark, starting eight of 11 games played.

In August 2021, the Lakeland, FL, native signed a two-year contract with Spanish side Real Betis Féminas. In her first season with the club, she started six of 14 matches.

A First-Team All-SEC selection at Auburn University in 2018, Folds made 76 appearances in four years with the Tigers, recording 24 goals and 25 assists. Folds led Auburn in scoring her junior and senior campaigns.

Folds will be available for the Courage's home game on Friday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Washington Spirit. Tickets can be purchased here and the match will stream live on Paramount+ and Twitch (internationally).
