
Bravehearts make the most of 7 hits in 5-3 victory over Pittsfield

Both the Worcester Bravehearts (19-9) and the Pittsfield Suns (16-12) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Worcester Bravehearts that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-3 win at Fitton Field.
Josh Desai pitched lights out for the Worcester Bravehearts. The Pittsfield Suns managed just one hit off of Desai, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Zack Tower paced the Pittsfield Suns at the plate. Tower went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.
Blake Drew couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Pittsfield Suns, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
