
Brannon Earns 2nd TCL Pitcher of the Week Honors

Bryan-College Station, TX (July 15, 2014) - For the second time in as many weeks, Brazos Valley Bombers left-handed pitcher Cody Brannon earned Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Week Honors for his July 12th outing against the East Texas PumpJacks.
Four days after his scoreless one-inning appearance in the 2014 TCL All-Star Game, Brannon would go 6 2/3 shutout innings giving up just four hits and two walks while striking out eight to earn his third win of the season. The University of Texas-San Antonio product is now fourth in the league with a 1.71 ERA and is seventh in the league in strikeouts with 36.
