Corn Dogs, Jackie ... and Burgers Too

East Texas PumpJacks News Release

There is only one place cows and Will Ferrell will share the stage Tuesday and Wednesday night, and that is right here at historic Driller Park

Hamburgers and corn dogs. Cows and Jackie Moon. Bovines and Buddy the Elf.

If those pairs don't appear to have anything in common, then you haven't looked at the East Texas Pump Jacks' promotional schedule for the next few days.

The Pump Jacks return home to historic Driller Park Tuesday and Wednesday to face off with the Woodlands Strykers. But cows and Will Ferrell will be in the spotlight.

The series kicks off on Tuesday with the Pump Jacks' observation of Cow Appreciation Day. In honor of our bovine friends, the Jacks will be serving half-price burgers and cheeseburgers throughout the game.

Pump Jacks fans who arrive Tuesday wearing anything cow-related are eligible to purchase Grandstand tickets for just $2. And cow-lovers who dress in a full cow costume will enjoy free burgers all night long!

Wednesday's game marks Will Ferrell's 47th birthday, so join the Pump Jacks as we celebrate some of Will's most memorable characters. We'll start it off by selling corn dogs in the concessions stand for the only night this season. As Father Pat the referee said in Semi-Pro, "Corn dogs, Jackie, corn dogs!"

East Texas travels to Acadiana Thursday for a two-game stretch against the Cane Cutters before returning home this weekend to take on the Victoria Generals.
