SEASON SERIES: Tonight's game will be the fourth of seven this season between the Brahmas and the Ice. Indianapolis holds a 2-1 advantage over Fort Worth. The teams' last two meetings were on back-to-back days during late November in Indianapolis. The Brahmas picked up two points during the road trip, losing the first in overtime and the second in a shootout. Fort Worth defeated the Ice 4-2 in its home opener. The teams will meet three more times this season, including the next meeting on Dec. 31 in Fort Worth.
FORT WORTH NOTES: The Brahmas snapped a seven game road losing streak last night with their 5-4 overtime win in Wichita last night...Left wing Chad Woollard supplied the majority of the Brahmas offense, with three assists in regulation and a the game winning overtime goal...Center Joe Van Volsen added two goals and forward Jim Midgley chipped in with two assists...The Brahmas will welcome three new faces to their lineup tonight, as centers Rob Giffin and Lloyd Marks, as well as defenseman Matt Munro were all acquired in trade this morning for Corpus Christi in exchange for defenseman Mike Tilson.
INDIANAPOLIS NOTES: The Ice are 7-3-0 in their last ten games and have moved into second place in the Northeast Division, just three points behind the division leading Memphis RiverKings...Indy has won their last three games in a row, including a 2-1 shootout victory last night in Odessa...The Ice are in the midst of a season long eight game road trip...Forward Jared Dumba has 4 goals and 5 assists in his last five games, including consecutive game winning goals in Indy's last two contests.
NEXT UP FOR THE BRAHMAS: The Brahmas will break for the Christmas holiday and will not play again until Friday, Dec. 27, 2002 when they host the Northwest Division leading Tulsa Oilers at the Ft.
