Brahmas Head West in Opening Round for Games 3 and 4

April 4, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Fort Worth Brahmas News Release

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (April 4)- The Brahmas look to regain a lead in the best of five series in the Ray Miron President's Cup Opening Round against the Jackalopes as they travel to Odessa for Games Three and Four on Tuesday and Thursday. The series is currently tied at 1-1.

The Ector County Coliseum in Odessa has been like a home away from home as the Brahmas held a 3-1 record in the regular season at the nicknamed "Jack Shack". Making their selves right at home with nine points apiece in west Texas were Chad Woollard (7 G, 2 A), Jason Deitsch (2 G, 7 A) and Greg Hogeboom (1 G, 8 A).

Texas will be one roster spot short with forward Mick Lawrence serving his second game in his three game suspension for an incident that occurred in Game One of the Opening Round.

Texas will host Game Five of the series (if necessary) this Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 pm (Home Playoff Game #3). If the Brahmas sweep Games Three and Four this week, Texas will advance and will have the Conference Semifinals schedule out shortly after. For all playoff package holders, whether it be Game Five of the Opening Round or the first game in the next series, the ticket to be used will be "Home Playoff Game # 3". The Brahmas will send additional ticket and schedule information following the results of Thursday night's game against Odessa.

For playoff package information please contact the Brahmas Box Office at (817) 336-4423 or visit www.brahmas.com .
