
Brahmas Fall to Bees in Shootout

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas - The Brahmas fought back from an early 2-0 deficit against Rio Grangde Valley on Saturday but could not close the game out as they fell to the Bees in a shootout 5-4.
Aaron Lee scored the game-winning goal on the fourth shot of the shootout. Chad Woollard scored three unanswered goals to pace the Brahmas in a losing effort. For Woollard, the hat trick gives him 18 goals for the season.
Brahmas netminder Mark Guggenberger made 22 saves on 26 shots faced to take the loss in his first start since coming back from injury. Killer Bees' goaltender Wylie Rogers allowed four goals in 25:03 before being replaced by John Murray, who saved all 15 shots he faced.
Texas returns home to take on the Allen Americans on Friday, February 10 at 7:30pm at the NTYEX Sports Centre.
