Brahmas and NYTEX Announce New Roles

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (September 20)- As the 15th season of Texas Brahmas hockey approaches, the Brahmas in conjunction with NYTEX Sports announced internal changes and promotions Tuesday afternoon.
Frank Trazzera will now take on C.O.O. duties for NYTEX Sports. As C.O.O, Trazzera will oversee all functions in the building, including the interaction between the professional and junior Brahmas organizations. Joining forces with NYTEX this season will be Scott Plourde as he will be the V.P. of Sales for both NYTEX and the Brahmas. Plourde enters his fifth season with the organizations.
Long-time General Manager, Mike Barack will assume the responsibility as President of the Brahmas. In addition, Barack maintains his position as a minority owner with the club. Brahmas Head Coach, Dan Wildfong will add the title of General Manager. Wildfong has previously been Director of Hockey Operations. Chad Siewert has been promoted to Director of Sales for the Brahmas.
NYTEX C.E.O, Dr. Salvatore Trazzera, believes the restructuring of the front offices will be beneficial for all parties.
"We are excited about the synergies between our two organizations. These moves will allow both entities to continue to grow while also enhancing our NYTEX/Brahmas partnership", said Trazzera.
Brahmas Majority Owner, Stuart Fraser, also believes new dynamics will strengthen the businesses.
"I am encouraged by the personnel changes as the team continues to pursue growth in ticket sales, community and marketing partnerships and our on-ice product," said Fraser.
The Brahmas 2011-12 season will open in October, but season tickets are available now, including flexible packages.
