Bradley and Altidore Called into United States National Team

Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Jozy Altidore were named to United States Head Coach Bruce Arena's 27-man roster for a friendly and a pair of FIFA World Cup qualification matches. The U.S. will play a friendly match against Venezuela on Saturday, June 3 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The U.S. will then host Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday, June 8 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado and travel to face Mexico on Sunday, June 11 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. Bradley, 29, has earned 130 caps scoring 16 goals for the U.S. throughout his career. Bradley has played every minute of TFC's 14 MLS matches registering one assist this season. He was also named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week eight. Altidore, 27, has earned 102 caps scoring 37 goals for the U.S. throughout his career. Altidore has appeared in 13, starting in 11 matches registering six goals and four assists for TFC this season. He was also named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week nine and was on the bench for Week three. The U.S. currently sits in fourth position in the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with four points.
