Brad Guzan Suffers Ruptured Achilles Tendon

ATLANTA - Atlanta United today announced that Brad Guzan suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his right leg during Saturday's 0-0 draw vs. FC Cincinnati. The goalkeeper will have surgery at a date still to be determined this week.
Atlanta United (3-2-1, 10 points) returns to action Wednesday, April 20 when it hosts Chattanooga FC at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (7:30 p.m., ESPN+, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game). The team returns to MLS play Sunday, April 24 when it travels to face Inter Miami CF at DRV PNK Stadium (1:00 p.m., ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
