"Bowling with the Dawgs" to Support Dawgs Breakfast Program

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs, in coordination with the Bulldogs Foundation, are proud to present the first annual "Bowling with the Dawgs" event to benefit the Dawgs Breakfast Program, which helps students get a healthy and nutritious start to the day, thereby facilitating the learning process. "Bowling with the Dawgs" will take place on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Splittsville Entertainment (1525 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton, Ontario).

Fans are invited to arrive as early as 6 p.m. to mingle with the players before they are assigned to a lane. The Games Zone at Splittsville will also be open throughout the event, and fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the "Strike to Win" contest to qualify to win the grand prize of the night.

Family packages are available for as little as $200 while corporate packages start at $500. Single tickets can also be purchased, and all participants will get to bowl with a member of the Hamilton Bulldogs for one hour. Non-bowlers can participate in the event by purchasing a $20 general admission ticket but will not have access to the bowling zone.

Limited spots are available for this event so fans are asked to register early to avoid disappointment. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the Bulldogs office (101 York Blvd., Hamilton, Ontario) or at the Bulldogs Foundation booth behind section 113 during home games at Copps Coliseum.

The Bulldogs' next game will take place, TONIGHT, Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. when they host the St. John's IceCaps on Home Depot Night. The 'Dogs continue their 3-in-3 weekend on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 when they take on the Rockford IceHogs at 7 p.m. at Copps Coliseum before travelling to Rochester on Sunday, February 19th, 2012 to face the Americans at 5:05 p.m. at Blue Cross Arena.

Single game tickets for the 2011-2012 season are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, any Ticketmaster Outlet, online at ticketmaster.ca or through charge-by-phone at 1-855-872-5000.

All Hamilton Bulldogs games can be heard live on AM 820 CHAM or on www.hamiltonbulldogs.com, or seen live on www.ahllive.com beginning with the Pioneer Pre-Game Show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Friday night's game can also be seen on Cable 14 (check your local listings).
