
Crunch Announces Details of Wegmans 'Grocery Bagging for a Cause' Program

Syracuse, NY (February 17, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Crunch and Wegmans partnership 'Grocery Bagging for a Cause', to benefit the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection.
Select Crunch players will appear at area Wegmans locations for three appearances to bag groceries. Any tips generated by the Crunch players will be donated to Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection. Al the Ice Gorilla, Syracuse Crunch mascot, will also be at all three appearances to lend a helping hand. Both the Crunch players and Al will be available for autographs and photos during each event.

Thursday, Feb. 23 - 4:00-6:00 p.m. -- Wegmans at Great Northern 3955 Route 31 Liverpool, New York 13090
Thursday, Mar. 15 - 4:00-6:00 p.m. -- Wegmans at Western Lights Plaza 4722 Onondaga Blvd Syracuse, NY 13219
Sunday, Mar. 18 - 12:00-2:00 p.m. -- Wegmans John Glenn 7518 Oswego Road Liverpool, NY 13090

The Crunch travel to Norfolk for back-to-back games against the Admirals on February 17 and 18, before returning home to the War Memorial for a clash with the Worcester Sharks on February 21.
