
Bowen Stops 43/44, Melee Scores Twice as Petes Take Down 67's in Ottawa

(Ottawa, ON) - On Friday, October 20, the Peterborough Petes traveled to the Nation's Capital for a matchup with the Ottawa 67's. The Petes won the game 4-1, keeping their spot at the top of the East Division.
Zach Bowen led the way for the Petes, stopping 43/44 shots faced for his second win. Jonathan Melee scored twice, while Donovan McCoy scored his first of the season and added an assist. Connor Lockhart and Sam Mayer picked up two assists each, as Tommy Purdeller rounded out the scoring. Chase Lefebvre, Braydon McCallum, and Carson Cameron all had an assist in the win.

It's Halloween at the PMC as the Petes are back in action on Saturday, October 21 when they host the rival Oshawa Generals for the first time this season. Fans are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to take part in Roger's Halloween Costume Contest. The 1973-74 Petes will also be honoured before puck drop as a part of the Petes Alumni Homecoming Weekend. Tickets for the game can be purchased.
