
Bourret leads Thunder to comeback win

Wichita, KS- Alex Bourret scored a natural hat trick in the third period, leading the Thunder to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the Tulsa Oilers in front of a packed Wichita Ice Center on Saturday night.
Dustin Donaghy and Matt Whitehead scored first period goals to put the Thunder up 2-1, before Tulsa took a 3-2 lead after two periods on goals by Dustin Cloutier and Gerome Giudice. Bourret turned it on in the third period, scoring three goals in exactly eight minutes. Tulsa made it close with an extra attacker goal by Michel Beausoleil in the final minute.
Goaltender Ryan MacDonald made 21 saves in the victory as the Thunder outshot Tulsa 47-25. Whitehead and Justin Sawyer each had two points for the Thunder while Beausoleil had two points for Tulsa.
