New York Boulders News Release

The Boulders handled the Dominican National Team 14-4 Saturday night at Palisades Credit Union Park. The victory came at a cost, however, as second baseman Jared McDonald left the game in the top of the first inning with what appeared to be a hand/wrist injury after attempting to tag a runner stealing second base.

After tallying two runs through the first four innings, the Boulders erupted for eight runs in the fifth. In his Boulders' debut, Jason Agresti managed a little league home run, as his double turned into much more after two errors brought him and Mike Montville around to score. In consecutive at-bats, JC Rodriguez doubled, Conor Bierfeldt tripled and Cody Regis singled, putting the Boulders on top and they held onto the lead from thereon out.
