BOSTON - The Boston Celtics announced today that they have recalled guard/forward James Young from the Maine Red Claws.
In the Red Claws' 137-130 victory over the Delaware 87ers on Saturday, James Young tallied 27 points on 9-14 (.642) shooting from the field, two rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes of action.
Young is averaging 22.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.6 minutes per game, while shooting .479 (35-73) from beyond the arc over eight contests with the Red Claws this season.
