BOSTON - The Boston Celtics announced today that they have recalled guard/forward James Young from the Maine Red Claws.
In the Red Claws 120-102 win over the Delaware 87ers on Sunday, Young scored a team-high tying 22 points, grabbed eight rebounds, had two assists and blocked two shots in 34 minutes. In two appearances with the Red Claws this season, he is averaging 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in 34.9 minutes per game.
