February 5, 2009 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Boston Blazers News Release
The Boston Blazers (2-3) are looking for their first victory of the season against the New York Titans and a chance to move up in the NLL East Division standings when the team takes on their division rival from the Big Apple at the TD Banknorth Garden. Boston trails the Titans (3-2) by one game in the standings and, with a victory this weekend, can edge into a tie for second place with New York.
This marks the third meeting of the season between the teams with the Titans enjoying an unblemished 2-0 record against Boston. The Titans defeated Boston 19-14 in the season opener on January 10 and bested the Blazers 13-9 the following weekend on January 17 at the TD Banknorth Garden.
