
Boston Announces Rookie Camp Plans

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, the 2008-09 Atlantic Division champions of the American Hockey League, today announced that the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins have released their 24-man rookie roster that will participate in the team's rookie camp in Kitchener, Ontario. The camp is scheduled to run from September 5-10 with the team set to play three games, one each against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Boston roster includes 2008-09 P-Bruins Jamie Arniel, Adam Courchaine, Alain Goulet, Zach Hamill, Jordan Knackstedt, Jason Lawrence, Jeff LoVecchio, Matt Marquardt and Levi Nelson. Aside from players who have already spent time on a professional roster, some additional Bruins draft picks on the traveling squad include Ryan Button (2009, third round), Mike Hutchinson (2008, third round), Lane MacDermid (2009, fourth round), Tyler Randell (2009, sixth round) and Max Sauve (2008, second round). Non-Bruins draft picks on the roster include Matt Dalton, Chris DeSousa, Scott Fletcher, Brad Good, Mark Isherwood, Rob Kwiet, Taylor MacDougall, Peter Stevens, Jason Wilson and Marc Zanetti.
The Bruins' first round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Jordan Caron, will not participate due to injury.
