Bulldogs Announce Regular Season Schedule Change

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs President and Governor Glenn Stanford announced today the team has moved their 4:00 p.m. home game at Copps Coliseum on Sunday, January 24th, 2010 versus the Lake Erie Monsters to Monday, January 11th, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
The Bulldogs will open their 14th American Hockey League campaign at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, October 4th versus the Marlies before they return to Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario for their 2009-2010 home opener on Friday, October 9th versus the Rockford IceHogs.
Of the club's 40 home games, 38 will be held at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario and two will take place at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. 22 of the Bulldogs' home games will take place on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with the remaining 18 games scheduled on weeknights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). The Bulldogs will play eight home games on Wednesdays, eight on Fridays, eight on Saturdays, six on Sundays, six on Tuesdays, three on Mondays and one on a Thursday. All Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday home games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m., all Saturday home games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and all Sunday home games (with the exception of February 21st - 1:00 p.m. and February 28th - 6:00 p.m.) are scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

All regular season radio and online broadcasts will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the game's scheduled start time. Ellery Award-winning broadcaster Derek Wills will call the play-by-play of all 80 regular season games, while Al Craig will provide the colour commentary for all home games and select road games.
