
Boryczki accepts job in AHL with Providence

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Frostbite, proud member of the United Hockey League (UHL), today announced that Director of Broadcasting and Public Relations Kevin Boryczki has accepted a position as Manager, Media and Community Relations; Broadcaster with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).
"Kevin has done a remarkable job for our organization over the last two years," said Frostbite co-owner Glenn Morelli. "I want to thank him for his dedication to the Frostbite and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
Boryczki, 24, spent the past two seasons in Adirondack handling radio play-by-play on 98.5 WCKM, public and media relations duties as well as corporate and group sales. He also played an integral role in the success of the 2005 United Hockey League All-Star Classic.
"Kevin has been an instrumental part of our business organization over the last two seasons," said Frostbite General Manager Damon Markiewicz. "As an organization, we are very proud to have a member of our staff take that next step to the AHL."
Boryczki graduated from the SI Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University in 2003 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Before joining the Frostbite, the Connecticut native was the Assistant Director of Broadcasting and Public Relations with the Lakewood BlueClaws Baseball Club, the single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. During college Boryczki interned with the Syracuse Crunch, the AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"It has been a pleasure to work with such a professional organization over the past two seasons," said Boryczki. "The fans in Glens Falls have been so welcoming to me over the past two years that I wish them and the organization nothing but the best."
The Adirondack Frostbite will host a gathering for Boryczki on Thursday, July 28th at Davidson Brothers at 6:00PM open to any fans who wish to attend.
Frost Bites: Season tickets for the 2005-06 season are on sale now at the Frostbite front office located at the Glen Street entrance of the Glens Falls Civic Center. Tickets may be purchased at the office from 9AM to 6PM Monday through Thursday and from 9AM to 5PM Friday or by calling 926-PUCK.
