Bootsy Collins to Debut New Single, "Marshal Law," Live At Halftime

Cincinnati, OH - Cincinnati entertainment icon Bootsy Collins along with his groups, will be debuting his new song live at halftime of the contest against the West Palm Beach Phantoms Saturday night. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena.
The new song, "Marshal Law" was inspired by the Cincinnati Marshals and will be the theme song for the National Indoor Football League franchise.
Collins, who has performed with legends such as James Brown and George Clinton, is considered to be a funk icon and among the best bass player in the world. Collins, who presented the game ball prior to the Marshals' game April 22 game with the River City Rage, completed work on the new song early this week.
The Cincinnati Marshals dance team, the Diamond Deputies, will also perform with Collins' groups, during the halftime concert.
The debut of the new theme song will be part of a busy day on the river for Marshal fans.
The Marshals will be holding a pre-game pep rally at Willie's Sports Cafe in Covington beginning at 4 p.m. The Diamond Deputies will be on hand to meet with guests, sign autographs and pose for pictures while a Rolling Stones tribute band performs. After the pep rally, Willie's will provide free shuttle service to U.S. Bank Arena for the Marshals game at 7:30 p.m.
The Marshals will be offering a special deal for Red's fans as well. Any fan presenting a Red's ticket stub from Saturday's game against the Houston Astros at the U.S. Bank Arena Box Office will receive a free Rookie ticket for with the purchase of any regularly priced ticket.
In addition, the Marshals have a ticket special going on for the entire season for military personnel and college students. Any military personnel or college student presenting an ID when they purchase tickets at the U.S. Bank Arena box office will receive one Rookie ticket free when they purchase any two regularly priced tickets.
The Marshals and Phantoms will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at U.S. Bank Arena.
