SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze are pleased to announce that WR Aaron Boone (6-3, 215, Kentucky) earned the Spalding Highlight of the Week as announced by the Arena Football League.
Boone's Spalding Highlight of the Week came on a 14-yard reception from Blaze QB Tommy Grady (6-7, 245, Utah) in the second quarter of Utah's victory over the defending ArenaBowl XXIII Champion Spokane Shock. On that reception, Boone broke the Blaze's franchise record for career receiving yards of 4,063, which was previously held by former Blaze WR Siaha Burley. Boone finished the night hauling in 10 catches for 100 yards and three touchdowns. He now holds the Blaze's franchise records in receptions (370), receiving yards (4,128) and is now tied with Burley for career touchdowns (93).
