Boomers Welcome Melrose Pyrotechnics as Fireworks Provider

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers will bring the experience and expertise of the award-winning Melrose Pyrotechnics Inc. to Schaumburg as the official fireworks provider of the Boomers in 2012, it was announced today.
The Boomers and Melrose will partner together for a number of dates including every Friday home game, the Sunday of Opening Weekend (May 27) and the Village of Schaumburg's Independence Day Celebration on July 3 at Boomers Stadium.
"Boomers fans deserve first-class firework shows and Melrose Pyrotechnics is the best at what they do," said Boomers VP of Marketing and Promotions Dave Salvi. "We couldn't be happier working with such an esteemed company sporting an extensive client base. Friday nights at Boomers Stadium this summer will be the place to be."
With an impressive client listthat includes Navy Pier, the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, the Village of Itasca, and many more, Melrose produces spectacular fireworks entertainment including traditional displays, computer choreographed pyromusicals and close proximity and indoor pyrotechnic productions.

The Melrose Pyrotechnics Team has been the recipient of the following prestigious global awards: 2nd Place in the Hanabi World Cup in Nagasaki, Japan (2011), 1st Place in the Hanabi World Cup in Nagasaki, Japan (2010), 3rd Place in the L'International des Feux Loto-Quebec (2009); 1st Place in the Shanghai International Music FireworksFestival (2007) and 1st Place in the L'International des Feux Loto-Quebec (2006).
