Bryan-College Station, TX (July 9, 2015) - After the three-day All-Star Break, the Bombers returned home to the friendly confines of Cellucor Field to begin a four-game homestand.

The Bombers double-play combo of Trent Goodrich and Jimmy Norris led the charge on offense, with both going 2-for-4 and combining for 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. Norris hit his third double and first triple of the season and was named Cellucor Player of the Game. On the mound for the Bombers, Heston Van Fleet earned his first victory of the season, appearing in relief of starter Callaway Kirkpatrick. TCL wins and ERA leader, C.J. Gregory, pitched one and two-thirds innings to earn his first save of the 2015 season.

Tonight's victory improved the Bombers overall record to 23-5 and their second-half record to 4-1. The Bombers have already clinched the top overall seed in the TCL playoffs, but they are pursuing their ninth consecutive half-season championship and they are currently tied for first place in the second-half standings with the East Texas PumpJacks.

Tonight's theme was 9 Innings of Winnings, with a scooter giveaway presented by Scoots. Prizes were given away all night long at the ballpark, including a drone and Schlitterbahn tickets. July 9 was also Thirsty Thursday where drinks were a dollar all night long thanks to Western Beverages. Tomorrow night is Ladies Night, presented by Funky Cheveux, with a Diamond Dig courtesy of Montelongo's Fine Jewelry. First pitch for the July 10 ballgame is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
