Bombers Hit Airwaves Tonight

Make sure to catch the Bombers on the Dayton airwaves tonight as rookies Jim Henkemeyer and Nino Musitelli visit the WONE studio for Mark Schlemmer's show at 5:20 p.m. Tune into 980AM to catch up on the team and get a preview of this weekend's games. Then at 6:00 p.m. tune in to WDTN Channel 2 for the fourth and final installment of "Beyond the Boards," a special series on the life of Dayton Bombers players. Starring resident tough-guy Britt Dougherty, the series has followed the team on a road trip to Wheeling, walked through Dougherty's pre-game routine and heard action on the ice. Tonight's segment will highlight an off day for Dougherty. He will then join the 2News sports team live in the studio to wrap up the series.

The Bombers are next on the ice for a pair of games against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m. at US Bank Arena.

Action returns to the Nutter Center next Wednesday, February 25 when the Elmira Jackals come to town for a 7:30 p.m. match up. It's another "Carload Wednesday", where fans can pack their cars and trucks full of friends and coworkers and everyone gets in for $30. Individual tickets start at just $10 for kids under 18 and $15 for adults (includes parking) and can be purchased at the Nutter Center box office or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
