Bombers Fall Short Of A Comeback Against Generals At Home

Bryan/College Station, TX - The Bombers first game back home after a road trip ended in a loss despite persistence the whole game. Tonight's stats were put up by Casey Sunseri, Justin Harris, and Ben Columbus with base hits in the fourth inning. Jacob Guerrero logged an RBI base hit, scoring Casey Sunseri for the first run of the night in the fourth as well.

The final score this evening was 6-3 in favor of Victoria as the Bombers struggled to get hits at the plate. In the fifth inning Jacob Guerrero also logged a base hit and stole second shortly after. In the seventh Christian Smith Johnson logged an RBI and in the 8th Maddox Miesse earned a run on a wild pitch. Despite the tough loss the Bombers are still first in the TCL and look to secure wins at home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
