Bombers Dominate Rougarou at Home to Complete the First Half of the Season

Bryan/College Station, TX - The first half of the season comes to an end for the Bombers with a 6-1 win at home. The Bombers never looked to be in trouble leading the entire game for an easy win on their home turf with great performances all around on offense and defense having no errors as well for an excellent game. The Bombers next game is on the road on Saturday for another game against Baton Rouge.

The momentum of offense tonight began with a base hit by Texas Longhorn Seth Werchan who also ended up scoring on a pass ball for Brazos Valley's first run of the night later in the half inning. In the fourth inning Jordan Medellin logged a triple to right field allowing D2 national champion Justin Harris to score. Jordan Medellin, who recently committed to UTA, went on to score the third run on a pass ball in this inning as well. This was followed up by more positive energy by Seth Werchan with an infield single.

In the sixth inning Maddox Miesse earned a double that was hit deep into left field to score Justin Harris for the bombers fourth run of the evening. Nebraska catcher Ben Columbus showed off why he's a power 5 athlete with an RBI single to center field to score Hunter Autrey with 2 outs in the inning. To continue to work well under the pressure of outs Jacob Guerrero logged a double to advance Ben Columbus to third base and this was followed up by the final run of the night by Ben Columbus on a pass ball.
