Lafayette, LA (June 26, 2015) - The Brazos Valley Bombers showed the resilience of a champion on Friday night, scoring four runs in the late innings to knock off the Acadiana Cane Cutters by a score of 4-1.
The back-to-back TCL champions were locked in a scoreless battle with the Cane Cutters until the home team took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, but the Bombers responded with two runs in the seventh inning and two more in the eighth inning to put Acadiana away for good.
