Bombers Add Two to Practice Roster

WINNIPEG, MB., July 14, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the additions of International receiver Taveon Rogers, and International quarterback Mason Mills to the practice roster.

Rogers (5-11, 200, New Mexico State, August 17, 1990 in Lancaster, CA) spent the past two season with Cincinnati of the NFL. He played his NCAA football at New Mexico State, and finished his senior season with 59 receptions for 1,048 yards and nine touchdowns.

Mills (6-0, 195, San Diego, November 15, 1990 in Coronado, CA) left San Diego after this past collegiate season as the school's all-time leading passer with 11,099 yards, starting four seasons at USD. He led San Diego to an 8-3 record in 2013, tossing a whopping 35 touchdowns and only five interceptions, finishing with 3,463 yards through the air. He was named Player of the Year in the Pioneer Football League this past season.
