
Boise Hawks Present "Blues, Brews and BBQ"

BOISE, ID, - YOUR Boise Hawks will be hosting their 4 TH Annual "Blues, Brews & BBQ" Saturday, June 1, at Memorial Stadium with proceeds benefiting the Idaho Humane Society and the Pet Food Pantry.
Gates will open at 11:30a.m. Tickets are just $10.00 (including a beer mug and two beer sampling tickets) and $7.00 (with a non alcoholic drink and ice cream). Anyone who brings a bag of cat litter, cat food or dog food to support the Idaho Humane Society will receive two extra beer sampling tickets with their admission! Extra tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each. Children five and under will be admitted for FREE.
BBB will feature seven bands throughout the day including Next in Line, The Marshall Poole Band, and Lori B! & The Dudes Deluxe, Phantasmagoria, Jake Leg, The Juke Daddy's, and The Blues Addicts!
There will be seven local breweries with their craft beer available for tasting. The breweries include Payette Brew Company, Grand Teton, Highlands Hollow, 10 Barrel, Crooked Fence, Table Rock, and Salmon River.
Scheduled to grill at BBB will be 3 local barbeque masters including Idaho BBQ, Rolling Hawg Smokers, and Brown Shuga Soul Food.

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1990-2000 and have been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001.
