On Friday night in Minnesota Jeremy Robert gave Bismarck the upper hand by scoring just 16 seconds into the first period, but the Bobcats couldn't hold the momentum as the Southern Minnesota Express defeated the Bismarck Bobcats 5-1. On Saturday night James Becker, Colin Hoey and Joel Whited each contributed a goal and an assist as the Bobcats picked up a huge win over Southern Minnesota (6-4). Brett Calhoun had three assists for the Bobcats. The other three teams who are in the battle for the final two spots in the Central Division all won on Saturday, putting the heat on Bismarck. The Bobcats are tied with North Iowa for third place (both teams have 56 points). Springfield has 54 points while Alexandria has 52 points.

The Bobcats are off this week; they end the regular season at the VFW Sports Center on March 30th and 31st when they battle the Alexandria Blizzard. Seating is limited - call 222-3300 to reserve your ticket for these crucial games. Support your Bismarck Bobcats as they push for the playoffs!
