
Bobcats Sign Indiana Tech Defenseman Nick Papandrea

DANVILLE, IL - The Vermilion County Bobcats of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) have signed defenseman Nick Papandrea to a Training Camp Agreement for the 2021-22 season.
Papandrea, 26, is a versatile scorer from the blueline. A five-year player at Indiana Tech, Papandrea totaled 84 points in 138 collegiate games with the Warriors.
"Nick is a smooth skater," said Bobcats head coach Mike Watt. "He makes a good first pass, he can jump into the play...he can really help out on the back end."
Papandrea played junior hockey with the NA3HL's Toledo Cherokee in 2015-16, earning a commitment to Indiana Tech. His best season came in 2019-20, potting 13 goals and adding 15 assists in 30 games. He was recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection and a member of the WHAC All-Academic team. His final season ended in the ACHA National Semi- Final.Vermilion County Bobcats season tickets are on sale now at vcbobcats.com.
