Bismarck Bobcats News Release
It was announced today that the Bismarck Bobcats biggest rival, Fargo-Moorhead, will not be around for another season. After five years of existence, the Jets will be relocated next year. Due to the expansion of the United States Hockey League to the Fargo-Moorhead area the Jets will no longer make a home at the Jon Carlson Coliseum.
"We are sad to see the Jets leave Fargo-Moorhead but the Bobcats are here to stay." said Bobcats President and General Manager Jane Link. "The North American Hockey League is planning on expanding the Central Division and we are excited to build new relationships."
Bismarck has its final two games of the season this weekend at the VFW Sports Center. The Springfield Jr. Blues will be in town on Friday and Saturday. Doors open both nights at 6 for 75 cent beer and the puck drops at 7! Get your tickets now at www.bismarckbobcats.com or by calling the ticket office at (701)222-3300.
