BOARDMAN, Ohio - The North American Hockey League announced the North Division playoff schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Mahoning Valley Phantoms first-round, best-of-five series against the Alpena Ice Diggers will begin on Friday, April. 4 at 7:15 p.m. at the Ice Zone in Boardman.
The winner of the North Division semifinal series will move on to play the winner of the first place St. Louis Bandits versus the fourth place U.S. National Team in the North Division Finals.
The schedule is as follows - games four and five are only if necessary:
Game 1 - Friday, April 4 at 7:15 p.m. at the Ice Zone in Boardman
Game 2 - Saturday, April 5 at 7:15 p.m. at the Ice Zone in Boardman
Game 3 - Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Arena in Alpena
Game 4 - Friday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Arena in Alpena*
Game 5 - Sunday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ice Zone in Boardman*
* - if necessary
