Rancho Cucamonga Quakes News Release

Rancho Cucamonga, CA - Angels' catcher Bobby Wilson, who's been out of action since a collision with New York Yankee Mark Teixeira left him with a concussion and a sprained left ankle, is scheduled to be in the starting lineup tonight for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, as they face the Lancaster JetHawks at The Epicenter.

Wilson, who is expected to be with the Quakes for the next two days as part of a rehab assignment, will have the catching duties on Tuesday and bat second in the lineup.

The Seminole, Florida native made his big-league debut in April of 2008 and has appeared in a total of 21 major league games, including two this year with the Angels, prior to the injury.

In 2005, Wilson hit .290 with 14 homers and 77 RBIs in 115 games for the Quakes.

The Quakes open a three-game series with the Lancaster JetHawks on Tuesday night at The Epicenter, sending Ryan Chaffee (1-1) to the mound against JetHawks' right-hander Ross Seaton (1-2) at 7:05pm. Tickets are available for the three remaining games in this current home stand by calling (909) 481-5000 or online at rcquakes.com.
